Burger & Beer joint opens at Mall at UTC

Miami's popular restaurant, Burger & Beer Joint, today officially opens its newest location inside The Mall at University Town Center.

The full-service restaurant is famed for its gourmet-style, non-traditional hamburgers, variety of homemade sauces and unique beer selection, which includes more than 75 beers. Menu selections include items such as ahi tuna tacos, green bean fries, a cajun gulf shrimp cobb salad and fried Oreos. Hamburger options include items such as "mustang Sally," a wagyu beef burger with brie cheese and sliced prosciutto,  and the "hotel California," a black Angus beef burger with guacamole, cheddar, grilled onions, jalapeno relish, cilantro sour creem and a sunny side-up fried egg on a brioche bun.

Driven by a sports and music theme, the restaurant, which held a soft opening Sunday, features more than 15 televisions and an outdoor patio with a fire pit.

The restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The new store is located at the east entrance to the mall, 160 University Town Center Drive, Sarasota.
