Mote releases green sea turtle on Longboat Key

Paul Waldrop and Mike Leworthy release C.J. the sea turtle back into Sarasota Bay after the two found him injured a year ago.

A crowd of nearly twenty people gathered near Moore's Stone Crab Restaurant in Longboat Key for the turtles release.

After a year of rehabilitation at the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, C.J. the sea turtle swims off into Sarasota Bay.
