The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Jan. 14 and Jan. 18.

A home in Sandy Hook tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James Fellows, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 172 N. Sandy Hook to Tomas and Sofia Fiedler, of Sarasota, for $1,375,000. Built in 1970, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,829 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $186,000 in 1986.

Gulf & Bay Club
Barbara Firek, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 309 condominium at 5780 Midnight Pass Road to Julia Thompson, trustee, of Overland Park, Kan., for $697,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,361 feet of living area. It previously sold for $206,500 in 1989.

Tortuga Beach
Andrew Cottone and Jennifer Cottone, trustees, of Chadds Ford, Pa., sold the Unit 304 condominium at 8710 Midnight Pass Road to Paula Krambeer, trustee, of Lake Zurich, Ill., for $399,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,012 feet of living area. It previously sold for $560,000 in 2007.

Whispering Sands
Paul Marentette and Robert Gutierrez, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 101 condominium at 101 Whispering Sands Drive to Karon Bishop, of Park Rapids, Minn., for $329,900. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,271 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 2007.
