Siesta Isles home sells for $1.565 million

Home at 1031 Contento St. was the top seller in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Palmer Ranch, Osprey and Nokomis for the week of Aug. 23-27.

A home in Siesta Isles tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.Theodore Ritter and Harma Nijhof, trustees, of Green Cove Spring, sold the home at 1031 Contento St. to Dale and Sara Linnes, of Eastsound, Washington, for $1,565,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,853 square feet of living area. It  sold for $530,000 in 2012.

SARASOTA

Oyster Bay Estates

Christine Chwallek and Creig Beaghler sold their home at 1625 Field Road to John and Rebecca English, of Sarasota, for $1.1 million. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,539 square feet of living area. It  sold for $400,000 in 2012.

The Condominium on the Bay

Akmal and Mary Khan, trustees, sold the Unit 1710 condominium at 988 Blvd. of th Arts to Nicholas Joseph DeBellis and Susan Anne DeBellis, of Easton, Connecticut, for $1.1 million. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It  sold for $379,000 in 2012.

Baywinds Estates

Sandra Sanders, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1646 Baywinds Lane to Kathleen Joan Parker, of Sarasota, for $1,015,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,300 square feet of living area. It  sold for $354,500 in 2019.

Regency House

Patricia Kordis, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1101 condominium at 435 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Mollie Nelson Holland, of Sarasota, for $937,500. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,855 square feet of living area. It  sold for $775,000 in 2019.

Ronald Kronthal and Richard Kronthal, trustees, of Washington, D.C., sold the Unit 1105 condominium at 435 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Ronald Stanley Moskal, of Sarasota, for $625,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,537 square feet of living area. It  sold for $400,000 in 2016.

Sean and Laura Murphy, trustees, of Harvey Cedars, New Jersey, sold the Unit 1005 condominium at 707 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Celia Tavarez, of Sarasota, for $850,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,305 square feet of living area. It  sold for $565,000 in 2020.

Celia Tavarez, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 904 condominium at 707 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Linda Kule, of Sarasota, for $700,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,262 square feet of living area. It  sold for $415,000 in February.

Sapphire Shores

The Seven Seas Group LLC sold the home at 427 S. Shore Drive to Peter and Kathy Granger, of Sarasota, for $812,500. Built in 1952, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,512 square feet of living area. It  sold for $348,000 in 2015.

La Linda Terrace

Circum LLC sold two properties at 2297 Arlington St. to Amy Danette Cowley and Cherry Lynne Williams, of Sarasota, for $600,000. The first property was built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,078 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1985, it has one bedroom, one bath and 621 square feet of living area. It  sold for $275,000 in 2019.

Sarasota Bay Park

Jeremy and Christine Sensenig, trustees, of St. Petersburg, sold the home at 2480 Alameda Ave. to Bamidele and Terry Ogunleye, of Sarasota, for $552,000. Built in 1960, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,421 square feet of living area. It  sold for $196,000 in 2000.

3D of Sarasota LLC sold the Unit 712 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Dee Ess Properties LLC for $500,000. Built in 2007, it has one bedroom, one bath and 944 square feet of living area. It  sold for $375,600 in 2007.

Beverly Rayfield, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 1209 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Floyd Kenyon, of Sarasota, for $470,000. Built in 2007, it has one bedroom, one bath and 895 square feet of living area. It  sold for $347,500 in 2007.

Payne Park Village

Jean Luongo, trustee, of Oxford, New Jersey, sold the home at 2301 Lindstrom St. to Jennifer Bright, of Sarasota, for $480,000. Built in 2020, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,246 square feet of living area. It  sold for $371,700 in 2020.

Valencia Terrace

Thomas Talucci, of Bradenton, sold his home at 1371 13th St. to Michael Malak, of Denver, for $459,000. Built in 1929, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,258 square feet of living area. It  sold for $230,000 in 2020.

Gulf Gate East

Gary Phillips Jr., trustee, of O’Fallon, Illinois, sold the home at 6660 Easton Drive to Rafal Zalewski, of Sarasota, for $435,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,640 square feet of living area. It  sold for $175,000 in 2000.

Phillippi Landings

Kathryn Wright, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 503 condominium at 1921 Monte Carlo Drive to Robert Marble, of Sarasota, for $425,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,706 square feet of living area. It  sold for $210,000 in 2012.

Broadway Promenade

Kenneth Alan Folts and Zoe Teresa Folts, of Tempe, Arizona, sold their Unit 2405 condominium at 1268 11th St. to Jean Farris Martin, of Sarasota, for $410,000. Built in 20007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,122 square feet of living area. It  sold for $260,000 in 2020.

Gulf Gate

CBK Investments of Florida LP sold the home at 2737 Post Road to Opendoor Property Trust I for $408,400. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,631 square feet of living area. It  sold for $180,000 in 2012.

Siesta Estates

Amy Chessler-Carson, of Siesta Key, sold her home at 5570 Siesta Estates Court to Andrew Franklin, trustee, of Greenwich, Connecticut, for $1,475,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,574 square feet of living area. It  sold for $750,000 in 2007.

Somerset Cay

Robert Bush Bradley Jr. and Nancy Jane Bradley, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 53 condominium at 9122 Midnight Pass Road to Kevin Lynch and Janella Matter, of Southlake, Texas, for $1.37 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,237 square feet of living area. It  sold for $902,000 in 2002.

Sara Sands

Timothy Joe Mullins and Deborah Arlynne Widmer, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5168 Sandy Cove Ave. to Atlas Painting and Sheeting Corp. Inc. for $1 million. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,402 square feet of living area. It  sold for $505,000 in 2012.

The Palm Bay Club of Sarasota

Midnight Pass Ltd. sold the Unit 332 condominium at 5963 Midnight Pass Road to Jenny Hung, trustee, of Chatham, New Jersey, for $700,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,270 square feet of living area. It  sold for $800,000 in 2005.

Peppertree Bay

Christer Nilson, of Lake Placid, sold his Unit 226 condominium at 1221 E. Peppertree Drive to Joseph and Linda Kupcha, of Coronado, California, for $650,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It  sold for $395,000 in 2016.

Elmer and Carol Metrose, of Fairport, New York, sold their Unit 501 condominium at 9397 Midnight Pass Road to Martin and Jeanne Seller, of Downers Grove, Illinois, for $650,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,380 square feet of living area. It  sold for $460,000 in 2017.

Kathleen and Charles Pappas, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 6854 condominium at 6854 Midnight Pass Road to Shelagh Ann Hare, of Manitoba, Canada, for $575,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,752 square feet of living area. It  sold for $87,500 in 1998.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club

Cory and Maria Leeper, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, sold their Unit 326 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Richard and Sally Berne, of Pine, Colorado, for $557,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,056 square feet of living area. It  sold for $270,000 in 2013.

Siesta Beach House

Joseph and Dawn Corso, of Wantagh, New York, sold their Unit 318 condominium at 5950 Midnight Pass Road to Wade and Alison Rice and Jack and Valerie Lemon, of Springfield, Ohio, for $495,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 988 square feet of living area. It  sold for $402,000 in 2019.

William and Dianne Ramsey, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4819 Sweetmeadow Circle to OP SPE TPA1 LLC for $700,000. Built in 1996, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,793 square feet of living area. It  sold for $490,000 in 2014.

Marlene Benson, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5201 Far Oak Circle to Abraham and Lidia Ini, of Sarasota, for $626,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,127 square feet of living area. It  sold for $233,200 in 1995.

John and Leah Phillips, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5735 Ferrara Drive to Rene Chapman, of Louisville, Kentucky, for $538,900. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,008 square feet of living area. It  sold for $248,800 in 2002.

Dwain Stilson and Zondra Abiya Stilson, trustees, of Parkville, Missouri, sold the home at 5360 Davini St. to David Edward Jabara and Jennifer Marie Baig, of Wichita, Kansas, for $450,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,846 square feet of living area. It  sold for $315,000 in 2018.

Isles of Sarasota

Rodney and Cheryl Johnson, of E. Taunton, Massachusetts, sold their home at 5919 Guarino Drive to Susan Pymm, of Sarasota, for $419,000. Built in 2011, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,549 square feet of living area. It  sold for $265,000 in 2015.

Twin Laurel Estates

Paul Michael Chapman, trustee, of Rippon, West Virginia, sold the home at 1115 Twin Laurel Blvd. to 1114 TLB LLC for $1,145,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,578 square feet of living area. It  sold for $345,000 in 2002.

Gulf to Bay Club

Phyllis Harrison and Barbara Lahti, of Leonard, Michigan, sold their Units 1 and 5 condominiums at 113 Casey Key Road to In Christ Alone LLC for $992,300. The Unit 1 condominium was built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,190 square feet of living area.The Unit 5 condominium was built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 855 square feet of living area. It  sold for $75,000 in 1980.

Diane Antonik, of Leonard, Michigan, sold her Units 8 and 9 condominium at 113 Casey Key Road to In Christ Alone LLC for $507,800. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,107 square feet of living area. It  sold for $75,000 in 1989.

Virginia Cole, trustee, of Osprey, sold the home at 2130 Calusa Lakes Blvd. to Douglas Solomon and Virginia Stewart, of Nokomis, for $850,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,496 square feet of living area.

Erik and Pamela Horton, of Palmetto, sold their home at 124 Da Vinci Drive to Troy Rivard, of Essex Junction, Vermont, for $485,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,890 square feet of living area. It  sold for $253,500 in 2015.

Sorrento Bayside

Tammy Keller-Lovell and David Neil Lovell, of Nokomis, sold their home at 416 Bayside Lane to Tom and Ann Gillery, of Nokomis, for $468,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,691 square feet of living area. It  sold for $320,000 in 2020.
