Top residential real estate sales for Jan. 8-12 in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Palmer Ranch, Osprey, Nokomis

A condominium in The Phoenix tops all sales in this week’s real estate. Franklyn and Dale Gorell, of Iron Station, North Carolina, sold their Unit 401 condominium at 136 Golden Gate Point to Frank and Lisa Pecora, of Whitestone, New York, for $3.3 million. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,785 square feet of living area. It sold for $2,295,000 in 2019.

Sarasota

Buccaneer Bay

Dorothy Elvin Lawrence and Alice Parker Nelson, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7336 Captain Kidd Ave. to Balazs Szabo and Angela Kelo Gere, of Sarasota, for $2.5 million. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 4,355 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.84 million in 2020.

Embassy House

Jerel and Barbara Johnson, of Venice, sold their Unit 1203 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to David Wilkins and Lois Wilkins, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1,365,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,520 square feet of living area. It sold for $805,000 in 2021. 

School Avenue Townhomes

BC School Ave. LLC sold the home at 72 N. School Ave. to Peter Allen Bosma and Venessa Bosma, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1,275,000. Built in 2020, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,761 square feet of living area.

Westbrook

Linda Getzen, Sandra Alger and James Getzen, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 1421 Westbrook Drive to James and Minta Getzen, of Sarasota, for $1,033,400. The first property was built in 1971 and has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,887 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1971 and has one bath and 606 square feet of living area. 

Gulf Gate

SRQ5 LLC sold the home at 6730 Easton Lane to Jennifer and Brandon English, of Sarasota, for $815,000. Built in 1982, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,024 square feet of living area. It sold for $540,000 in 2023.

Maple Mint LLC sold the home at 2405 Post Road to Kingdom Land Management LLC for $590,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,910 square feet of living area. It sold for $325,000 in 2023.

Andrew and Marjorie Shetler, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, sold their home at 3345 Marko St. to Ryan and Deborah Litwiller, of Middleton, Michigan, for $700,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,355 square feet of living area. It sold for $179,000 in 2015.

Toni and Brooks Phippin, of Frankford, Delaware, sold their home at 2935 Captiva Way to Dawn Marie Basli, trustee, of Danbury, Connecticut, for $595,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,365 square feet of living area. It sold for $225,000 in 2015.

Stephen Lockwood, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jeffrey Lockwood, of Pine, Colorado, and Andrew Lockwood, of Bradenton, sold their home at 7424 Mariana Drive to Maria Maksimov, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,745 square feet of living area. It sold for $55,600 in 1975.

Anthony Louis Centurione, of Sarasota, sold the home at 24123 Clematis St. to Bart Majerczyk, of Ontario, Canada, and Gary’s Roofing LLC for $550,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,592 square feet of living area. It sold for $262,000 in 2016.

Bonnie Baker Hutton and Steven Hutton, of Osprey, sold two properties at 763 Siesta Drive to 763 Siesta Drive LLC for $1,625,000. The first property was built in 1938 and has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,634 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1938 and has one bedroom, one bath and 492 square feet of living area. They sold for $1,175,000 in 2021.

Susan and Harry Williams, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, sold their home at 701 Sandy Nook St. to Sarah Pannuzio and Shawn Hienton, of Sarasota, for $899,900. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It sold for $740,000 in 2021.
