Top residential real estate sales for 2023 in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Palmer Ranch, Osprey, Nokomis

A condominium in Epoch tops the year's sales at $11.15 million.

Alan Town and Tatiana Vitalyevna Town, of Sarasota, sold their Unit PH condominium at 605 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Richard Henley and Susan Davis, trustees, of Sarasota, for $11.15 million. Built in 2021, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 5,238 square feet of living area. It sold for $9,747,300 in 2021.


San Remo Estates

Built in 2008, 1447 Tangier Way has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 5,040 square feet of living area.

Michael and Suzanne Watkins sold their home at 1447 Tangier Way to Stephen Pollack and Lora Pollack, trustees, of Sarasota, for $8.45 million. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 5,040 square feet of living area. It sold for $4.15 million in 2017. 


San Remo Estates

John and Jennifer Folvig, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3740 Tangier Terrace to James and Christina Mucha, of Sarasota, for $8.35 million. Built in 2021, it has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,277 square feet of living area. 


Block 6

Charles Premone, trustee, of Terri Premone, of Henderson, Nevada, sold the Unit 1405 condominium at 401 Quay Commons to Pamela Keller, trustee, of Sarasota, for $7.53 million. Built in 2021, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,647 square feet of living area. It sold for $6.1 million in 2022.


Kimlira

Marilyn Saba, trustee, and John Saba Jr., of Sarasota, sold the home at 1406 Kimlira Lane to David and Amanda Minoff, of Sarasota, for $6.75 million. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,604 square feet of living area.


Bay Point Park

Barbara Collins sold her home at 1507 Bay Point Drive to 1507 Bay Point Drive (Western Lot) LLC for $6.35 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 6,817 square feet of living area.


Sapphire Shores

Eric and Wendy Jestings, of Bradenton, sold their home at 387 S. Shore Drive to Jeffrey and Jennie Simmons, of Sarasota, for $6.35 million. Built in 2022, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,676 square feet of living area. 


Whitakers

John Wolf, Plenary Guardian, and Frank Folsom Smith, of Sarasota, sold three properties at 900 and 910 Alameda Lane to Michael Peterman, of Sarasota, for $6,025,000. The first property at 900 Alameda Lane was built in 1970 and has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,209 square feet of living area. The second property at 900 Alameda was built in 1973 and has two bedrooms, two baths and 912 square feet of living area. The property at 910 Alameda was built in 1991 and has one bedroom, one bath and 678 square feet of living area.

Andrew and Cheryl Hall, of Chicago, sold their Unit 402 condominium at 188 Golden Gate Point to Waco Street LLC for $5,999,900. Built in 2015, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,879 square feet of living area. It sold for $3.9 million in 2016.


Paradise Shores

Randy and Melinda Powell, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2168 Sparrow Court to Richard Bendure, trustee, of Johns Creek, Georgia, for $5.95 million. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,643 square feet of living area.

Brett and Wendy Taylor, of Cortez, sold their home at 5131 Jungle Plum Road to Walter Beresford Long and Iona Maria May Evans, of Sarasota, for $9.33 million. Built in 2001, it has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,369 square feet of living area. It sold for $4.6 million in 2019.


Siesta Key

James and Linda Stallings, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8569 Midnight Pass Road to Vasilios and Jennifer Kiritsis, of Leesport, Pennsylvania, for $6.65 million. Built in 2012, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,033 square feet of living area. 


Cocoanut Bayou

Michael Bernstein and Sarah Skebba, of Fairview, North Carolina, sold their home at 4129 Higel Ave. to Russel Landis, trustee, of Sarasota, for $6 million. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,865 square feet of living area. It sold for $3,583,000 in 2012.


Siesta Key

Christopher and Laura Jessen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3360 Gulfmead Drive to 3360 Valhalla Holdings LLC for $5.8 million. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,559 square feet of living area. It sold for $3.5 million in 2021.


Siesta Key

Daniel and Michele Hogan, of Seattle, sold their home at 4034 Roberts Point Road to Troy and Alana Kaplan, of Hugo, Minnesota, for $5.6 million. Built in 1990, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,599 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.75 million in 2015.

David Molnar and Lisa Molnar, trustee, of Del Mar, California, sold the home at 3954 Roberts Point Road to Deborah Gawron, of Sarasota, for $5,499,000. Built in 2014, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,214 square feet of living area. It sold for $5.4 million in 2022.


White Beach Fruit Co.

Sea Bear LLC sold two properties at 7340 Point of Rocks Road to Marco and Dana Assis, of Shawnee, Kansas, for $5.35 million. The first property was built in 1936 and has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,268 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1964 and has one bedroom, one bath and 408 square feet of living area. They sold for $3.8 million in 2021. 


Siesta Key

Reed Dennis Copsey and Anne Tether Dennis, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8415 Midnight Pass Road to Blake and Brittany Gratton, trustees, of Sarasota, for $4,775,000. Built in 1996, it has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,838 square feet of living area. It sold for $2 million in 2014.

Siesta’s Bayside

Patrick and Wendeline Carlton, of Placida, sold their home at 624 Waterside Way to Jennifer and Christopher Riley, of Siesta Key, for $4,562,500. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,986 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,925,000 in 2016.


Bay Island

William and Michelle Tingle sold their home at 3726 Flamingo Ave. to Natalie Marie Keep, of Frisco, Texas, for $4.35 million. Built in 2019, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,000 square feet of living area.


Palmer Ranch

Prestancia

Sandra Rutter and David Rutter, trustees, of Tahoe City, California, sold the home at 3701 Boca Pointe Drive to Deborah May, of Sarasota, for $2.55 million. Built in 1992, it has six bedrooms, five-and-two-half baths, a pool and 5,981 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.1 million in 2011. 


Prestancia

Mark and Amy Stout sold their home at 4184 Boca Pointe Drive to Dennis Laliberte, of Sarasota, for $2.15 million. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,440 square feet of living area. It sold for $855,000 in 2021.


Legacy Estates on Palmer Ranch

Jerry and Janice Riddle, of Sarasota, sold their home at 12044 Legacy Estates Blvd. to R+DX2 Enterprises LLC for $2,075,000. Built in 2019, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,493 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,009,200 in 2019.


Legacy Estates on Palmer Ranch

David John Cook and Suzanne Greer Cook, trustees, sold the home at 5316 Greenbrook Drive to Joshua Hartway and Denyse Turner-Hartway, of Sarasota, for $2.05 million. Built in 2019, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,493 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,068,800 in 2019.


Legacy Estates on Palmer Ranch

Wesley Howard Van Pelt and Laura Ann Van Pelt and Ryan Wesley Van Pelt and Megan Kathleen Van Pelt, of Austin, Texas, sold their home at 12000 Trails Reserve Court to Todd and Sheli Peplinski, of Sarasota, for $2 million. Built in 2019, it has four bedrooms, four-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,493 square feet of living area. It sold for $969,500 in 2019. 


Osprey

Sarabay Acres

Owen and Lindsey Thiessen, trustees, sold the home at 722 Sarabay Road to Carl and Carolena Grivner, of Osprey, for $4.4 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,202 square feet of living area. It sold for $3.71 million in 2021.


Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club

Christine Harman, trustee, of Weehawken, New Jersey, sold the home at 349 Yacht Harbor Drive to Jennifer Roberta Collins and John Esplen, of Ontario, Canada, for $3 million. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,202 square feet of living area. It sold for $980,000 in 1999.


Oaks

Jon Roger Lumsden, of Gay, Georgia, sold two properties at 324 Osprey Point Drive to Bruce Morgan and Cynthia Graves, of Osprey, for $2,675,000. The first property was built in 1998 and has five bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,433 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 2001 and has one bath and 1,325 square feet of living area. They sold for $1,625,000 in 2018.


Oaks I

James and Kay Lauritsen, of Sarasota, sold their home at 65 Osprey Point Drive to F. Keith Jacobson and Judith Ann Jacobson, trustees, of Overland Park, Kansas, for $2.5 million. Built in 1998, it has four bedrooms, three-and–a-half baths, a pool and 5,335 square feet of living area. It sold for $180,000 in 1997.


Oaks I

M & P Real Estate Holdings LLC sold the home at 134 Marys Chapel Court to Derek Salvatore Criscuolo and Mistique Rene Criscuolo, of Pickney, Michigan, for $2.5 million. Built in 1995, it has five bedrooms, eight baths, a pool and 5,521 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,359,700 in 2022.

Brian and Pamela Ann Sullivan, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2305 Casey Key Road to Dana and Judy Hoffmann, of Cortland, New York, for $8,525,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, five-and-three-half baths, a pool and 9,046 square feet of living area. It sold for $6.5 million in 2002.


Lychee Road

David Jernigan and Keeley Dodd, of Thompson Station, Tennessee, sold three properties at 411 Lychee Road to Edward Douglas, trustee, of Mendham, New Jersey, for $5.75 million. The first property was built in 1989 and has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,182 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 2004 and has one bedroom, one bath and 1,017 square feet of living area. The third property was built in 2004 and has one bath and 553 square feet of living area. They sold for $4.55 million in 2021.


Casey Key

Kathryn Hutcheson, of Nokomis, sold two properties at 615 Casey Key Road to Ronnie Hedrick II, of Lakeland, for $4,525,000. The first property was built in 1949 and has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,986 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1948 and has one bedroom, one bath and 442 square feet of living area. They sold for $3.5 million in 2020.


Casey Key

Michael and Lucille Brown, trustees, of Nokomis, sold the home at 4001 Casey Key Road to Waterside Properties LLC for $4.5 million. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,812 square feet of living area. It sold for $3.2 million in 2021.
