Two homes on Casey Key sell for $8 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 22 and Sept. 26.

Two homes on Casey Key top all transactions in this week’s real estate. Henry and Dawn Duques, of Bradenton, sold two properties at 712 N. Casey Key Road to Christopher Broom and Joanne Broom, trustees, of North Hampton, N.H., for $8 million. The first, built in 1999, has six bedrooms, eight baths, a pool and 13,553 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1999, has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,472 square feet of living area.

SARASOTA
The Landings 
Michael and Sarah Barron, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1419 Peregrine Point Drive to Carol Cotner and John Alogna, trustees, of Sarasota, for $2.9 million. Built in 1984, it has five bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 6,579 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,046,500 in 2004.

Sarabande
Joseph and Jann Silverton, trustees, of Chicago, sold the Unit 23 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to James and Sara Bagley, of Sarasota, for $1.22 million. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,437 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.16 million in May.

Alinari
Thomas and Nancy Campbell, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 107 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Linda Bodycomb, of Lusby, Md., for $475,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 1,952 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 2011.

Fikry and Irene Isaac, of Flemington, N.J., sold their Unit 1415 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Michael and Mary Gaio, of Sarasota, for $440,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $510,000 in 2007.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 208 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Carleton and Imogene Brower, of Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,546 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2011.
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 622 condominium at 1299 N. Tamiami Trail to Miriam Mendelson, of Sarasota, for $430,000. Built in 2003, it has one bedroom, one bath, one half-bath and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $575,000 in 2007.

One Watergate
Mary Gerritsen, trustee, sold the Unit 8-E condominium at 1111 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Charles Petrillo Jr., trustee, of Chesapeake, Md., for $465,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,575 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $68,000 in 1977.

Regency House
Barbara Jacobs, trustee, sold the Unit 805 condominium at 435 S. Gulfstream Ave. to Harold and Carol Erickson, of Sarasota, for $420,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,537 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $115,000 in 1995.

Broadway Promenade
Stampede Holdings Ltd. sold the Unit 1618 condominium at 1064 N. Tamiami Trail to Gerald and Wanda Selking, of Decatur, Ind., for $330,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,425 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $424,900 in 2007.

Joan Cusack, of Staten Island, N.Y., sold her Unit 2201 condominium at 1064 11th St. to Anthony and Elizabeth Cucchiaro, of Sarasota, for $265,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,279 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $273,500 in 2007.

Bayview
James and Jesse Eisenberg, of Greenwich, Conn., sold their home at 1660 Wisconsin Lane to Van Conn and Karen Conn, of Springfield, Ill., for $324,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $437,000 in 2005.

Homecroft
Fred Helmuth and Anna Beachy, trustee, of Arthur, Ill., sold two properties at 3553 Schrock St. and 3565 Schrock St. to Mary Helmuth, trustee, of Hoschton, Ga., for $300,000. The home at 3553, built in 2002, has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,629 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $103,700 in 2001. The home at 3565, built in 2002, has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,586 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $103,700 in 2001.

Paver Park Estates
Antony Reed, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 2712 Nancy St. to Carly Batista and Joaquin Batista Franco, of Sarasota, for $232,000. The first, built in 1956, has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,668 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1989, has one bedroom, one bath and 856 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $170,000 in March.

Gulf Gate
Rash Properties LLC sold the home at 6833 Half Moon Drive to Ronald and Deborah Andrashko, of Coopersburg, Pa., for $225,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,404 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $150,000 in April.

Colonial Terrace
John Forst, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2923 Concord St. to Bruce Maloney and Tracy Henderson, of Sarasota, for $224,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,725 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $55,500 in 1979.

Phillippi Gardens
Robert Ostroga, trustee, of Goodyear, Ariz., sold the home at 2534 Britannia Drive to Kristel Graham, of Sarasota, for $211,500. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,518 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $234,000 in 2004.

SIESTA
Bay Island

Clifford Lee, of Sarasota, sold his home at 723 Norsota Way to Xavier Holdings LLC for $2.59 million. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath, a pool and 3,706 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,012,000 in 1995.

Summer Cove on Siesta
SC Siesta Family LLC sold the Unit 103C condominium at 1660 Summerhouse Lane to Paula Buscher, trustee, of Omaha, Neb., for $1 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,400 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,011,800 in 2007.

Windward Passage
Arthur Patterson and Nancy Chiswick, of State College, Pa., sold their Unit E-4 condominium at 4708 Ocean Blvd. to Richard and Francine Hansen, of Sarasota, for $945,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,277 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $845,000 in 2004.

Somerset Cove
John and Livya Hament, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 9 condominium at 3915 Somerset Drive to Joseph and Anna Koegh, of Chicago, for $760,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,758 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $625,000 in 2002.

Siesta Breakers
Dean and Judith Hawk, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 612 condominium at 6480 Midnight Pass Road to Michael Mendick, of Rochester, N.Y., for $609,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,265 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $860,000 in 2004.

Whispering Sands
Helga Ponishil, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 702 condominium at 20 Whispering Sands Drive to Bruno Difazio and Linda Difazio, trustees, of Newton Highlands, Mass., for $550,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area.

Jigsaw Home Investments Inc. sold the Unit 304 condominium at 101 Whispering Sands Drive to Robert Hofmann, of Lakewood Ranch, for $310,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,271 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $244,000 in 2001.

Peppertree Bay
Peppertree LLC sold the Unit 503 condominium at 1255 E. Peppertree Drive to Graham and Joanne Thomas, of Great Leighs, United Kingdom, for $425,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2012.

Fisherman’s Cove
David and Priscilla Solomon sold their Unit A-106 condominium at 8900 Blind Pass Road to Frank and Robyn Cammaroto and Gerilyn Cammaroto, of Colts Neck, N.J., for $411,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 997 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $56,000 in 1977.

Island House
Jeff and Dawn Hornauser and Randy Conflitti, of Trenton, Mich., sold their Unit 19 condominium at 6150 Midnight Pass Road to Beach Birds 3 LLC for $405,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,044 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $247,500 in 1998.

Siesta Dunes Beach
6236 Midnight Pass LLC sold the Unit 205 condominium at 6236 Midnight Pass Road to Donald and Lori Dierig, of Cincinnati, for $400,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,150 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 1992.

Jamaica Royale
Mary Wenck, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 20 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to Marabelle LLC for $280,000. Built in 1960, it has one bedroom, one bath and 728 square feet of living area.

 

Siesta Harbor
Melinda Burnette, of Warrenton, Va., sold her Unit 104 condominium at 1250 N. Portofino Drive to Basil and Lynn Dubrosky, of Long Valley, N.J., for $210,000. Built in 1969, it has one bedroom, two baths and 780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $205,000 in 2002.

Sunrise Cove
Hubbard Singleton, of Marietta, Ga., sold his Unit 303 condominium at 8897 Midnight Pass Road to Marian Lutterman, of Sarasota, for $200,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 726 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 2001.

SARASOTA
Clark Lakes

Specialized Investment Solutions Inc. sold the home at 3646 Mary Lane to Eric Davidson and Julie Simmerling, of Sarasota, for $209,000. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,642 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,600 in 2013.

South Gate
Marla Moran, of St. Petersburg, sold her home at 2440 Valencia Drive to Katharine and Ethan Weiss, of Sarasota, for $209,000. Built in 1956, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,330 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 2004.

Alfred Park
Shawn and Gina Dehart, of Costa Mesa, Calif., sold their home at 2521 Hillview St. to John Tassotti, of Sarasota, for $206,200. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,553 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $97,000 in 2000.

PALMER RANCH

Malcolm and Janet Calladine, of Goole, United Kingdom, sold their home at 5201 Sand Lake Court to Barbara Cording, of Sarasota, for $1.07 million. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 4,847 square feet of living area.

Mary Peirce, as guardian, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8956 Bloomfield Blvd. to Andrew and Lori Cutler, of Sarasota, for $795,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath, a pool and 4,186 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $985,000 in 2008.

Deer Creek
Alice Shaw, trustee, and Bradford Shaw, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8491 Cypress Hollow Drive to Leslie Gardier, of Sarasota, for $454,500. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,415 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $68,000 in 1989.

Mira Lago at Palmer Ranch
Sharon Henderson, of Sarasota, sold her home at 3761 Amapola Lane to Michael Kneeland, trustee, of Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 1995, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,735 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $150,000 in 1997.

Wellington Chase
Donald and Winona Jones sold their home at 6233 Weymouth Drive to Bert and Margaret Kelly, of Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,044 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,500 in 1996.

Arielle on Palmer Ranch
Phyllis Hallin, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1805 condominium at 4493 Streamside Court to Glenn and Darla Kuh, of Bloomington, Ind., for $220,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,863 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 2006.

OSPREY
Oaks

Daniel and Madeline Joy, of Marietta, Ga., sold their home at 662 Fernwalk Lane to John and Marci Sobczak, of Osprey, for $882,000. Built in 1989, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,188 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2008.

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club
Nancy Flannagan, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1455 Southbay Drive to Thomas and Melanie Masotto, of Punta Gorda, for $512,500. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,375 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $561,000 in 2005.

Willowbend
Karen Parente, trustee, of Indianapolis, sold the home at 1342 Copperwood Drive to Bingyi Li and Lin Zhang, of Shanghai, China, for $426,500. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,312 square feet of living area.

Jennifer Propsom sold her home at 1264 Thornapple Drive to Arthur Skiados and Ursula Liska, of Osprey, for $374,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $335,000 in 2010.

The Villas at Osprey Harbor Village
Theresa and F. Daniel Ryan, of Sarasota, sold their Unit MPH condominium at 14041 Bellagio Way to FTU LLC and Brian Kaplan, of Atlanta, for $415,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,988 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,081,700 in 2006.

NOKOMIS
Treasure Island Shores

Timothy Hayes, trustee, and Valorie Hayes, of Osprey, sold the home at 805 Casey Key Road to Bobby and Barbara Evans, of Nokomis, for $3,025,000. Built in 1949, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,142 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.7 million in 2009.

Casey Key
Lyndon Lowe and Gregory Snyder, of Nokomis, sold their home at 412 S. Casey Key Road to The Sena Family Settlement Ltd. Partnership 3 for $750,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 3,983 square feet of living area.

Laurel Pines
Joan Dion, trustee, and Frederic Dion, of Nokomis, sold the home at 1205 Laurel Pines Drive to Gerald and Marjorie DeHart, of Nokomis, for $217,000.
