Home in Bay Island sells for $2.4 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Aug. 11 and Aug. 15.

Christopher and Aimee Cogan, of Sarasota, sold their home at 707 Norsota Way to Crenshaw Properties FLA LLC for $2.4 million. Built in 1938, it has four bedrooms, four baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,617 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,295,000 in 2013.

SARASOTA
Savoy on Palm
John and Elaine Kidd, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 301 condominium at 401 S. Palm Ave. to Charles and Heloisa Jennings, of Longboat Key, for $1.7 million. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,141,100 in 2006.

Cherokee Park
Scot and Sheri McArtor, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1686 North Drive to Carole Shainen and David Lewis, of Dallas, for $1.04 million. Built in 1957, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,574 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2004.

Bay View Heights
John and Jennifer Compton, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2619 Mulberry Terrace to Allison Kline, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 2,854 square feet of living area.

Poinsettia Park
Stephen and Wendy LaHood, of Osprey, sold two properties at 1910 Webber St. to James and Tiffany Perry, of Sarasota, for $725,000. The first property, built in 2003, has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,534 square feet of living area. The second property, built in 2003, has one bedroom, one bath and 528 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $720,000 in 2010.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 510 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Vincent and Ana Ferrara, of Sarasota, for $600,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,186 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $392,500 in 2007.

Rivo at Ringling
Simon and Inna Udall sold their Unit 601 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Timothy and Catherine Fenton, of Skillman, N.J., for $575,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,895 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $330,500 in 2009.

Palm Place
Patricia Lynch-Pepin, of Narragansett, R.I., sold her Unit 605 condominium at 755 S. Palm Ave. to James and Lindsey Zink, of Sarasota, for $560,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $346,000 in 2003.

Bayview Acres
Lyons Investment Properties LLC sold the home at 1717 Baywood Way to Jennifer and James Dawes, of Sarasota, for $429,900. Built in 1982, it has four bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 2,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in March.

Alinari
Suk and Boduck Chang, of Bath, Mich., sold their Unit 415 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Marsha Anthony, trustee, of Virginia Beach, Va., for $410,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $599,000 in 2007.

Huntington Pointe
Nathan and Madeline Zimmerman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4168 Hearthstone Drive to Jerry and Valerie DeVos, of Sarasota, for $395,000. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,929 square feet of living area.

Landings South
Berta Walker, of Provincetown, Mass., sold her Unit 3 condominium at 5261 Landings Blvd. to Sarasota Residence LLC for $330,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $445,000 in 2005.

Janet Cirksena, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 103 condominium at 1627 Starling Drive to Tana Kroll, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 1987, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,588 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $171,000 in 2013.

Gulf Gate Woods
Donald Lichter, trustee, sold the home at 7525 Mariana Drive to Greg and Barbara Boic, of Sarasota, for $318,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,821 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $195,000 in May.

Robert Rebhan, of Nokomis, sold the home at 2970 Captiva Drive to John Schoenborn, of Sarasota, for $290,000. Built in 1983, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,409 square feet of living area.

River Forest
Sandra Moser, of Sarasota, sold the home at 2123 Alvarado Lane to Mario Albuerne, of Sarasota, for $295,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $88,000 in 1993.
