Casey Key home sells for $4.5 million

Robert and Jayne Gunther sold their home at 1160 N. Casey Key Road to Lawrence Dickson, of Granville, Ohio, for $4.5 million. Built in 1980, it has six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half baths, a pool and 8,379 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.7 million in 2004.

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2. Of this week’s 21 sales, nine took place in Sarasota, seven took place in Palmer Ranch, four were in Osprey, two were recorded in Nokomis and one was on Casey Key.

SARASOTA
Harbor Acres
Marian Pietsch and Linsley Pietsch, personal representatives, sold the home at 1505 Hillview Drive to Chad Williams, Sarasota, for $827,500. Built in 1956, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,735 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $74,900 in 1975.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 913 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Joseph and Ruth Golov, Sarasota, for $795,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,772 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $580,100 in 2000.

Avondale
Tina Heinert sold the home at 1960 Lincoln Drive to John and Jean Ruff, Sarasota, for $385,000. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,611 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1997.

Phillippi Landings
John and Barbara Speicher, Osprey, sold their Unit 401 condominium at 5591 Cannes Circle to Thomas Minicucci, trustee, Sarasota, for $365,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,024 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $672,600 in 2006.

Hudson Landings
Bradley and Caroline Spotts, trustees, Bradenton, sold the Unit 858 condominium at 858 Hudson Ave. to Paul and Elizabeth Hennekes, of West Chester, Ohio, for $350,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,453 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $140,000 in 1990.

Harbor House West
Roger and Eileen Requardt, Pembroke Pines, sold their Unit 44 condominium at 226 Golden Gate Point to Jeffrey and Kendra Dash, Punta Gorda, for $337,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,396 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,500 in 1991.

The Landings Treehouse
Nigel Spreadbury, of Surrey, England, sold his Unit 55 condominium at 1478 Landings Circle to Kristi Bratzke, Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,912 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $310,000 in 2008.

Castel Del Mare
Cynthia Heinz, of Saginaw, Mich., sold her Unit 102-1600 condominium at 1600 Stickney Point Road to Jed and Lura Weirup, of Cliv, Iowa, for $205,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,036 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2005.

Kenilworth Street
BankUnited sold the home at 1623 Kenilworth St. to Cassandra Shea, Sarasota, for $204,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, one bath, one half-bath and 1,408 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $465,000 in 2004.

Fairway Woods
Mark Lubienski, trustee, sold the Unit 403 condominium at 7555 Fairway Woods Drive to Mary-Alice Salisbury, Sarasota, for $380,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,556 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2009.

Turtle Rock
Richard Chapkovic, trustee, of Indian Head Park, Ill., sold the home at 5107 Far Oak Circle to Eric Polinsky and Gabriela Lodeiro Polinsky, Sarasota, for $360,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,606 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $390,000 in 2003.
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the home at 4938 Sabal Lake Circle to Robyn and Jim McBridge, Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,559 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $369,000 in 2005.

Villagewalk
Anthony and Jennifer Fricano, Sarasota, sold their home at 8664 Dolce Lane to Elinor White, Sarasota, for $360,000. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,521 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $321,700 in 2002.

Russell and Joan Delaney, Sarasota, sold their home at 7852 Bergamo Ave. to David and Debra Gidaro, of Sterling, Va., for $225,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath, a pool and 1,672 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $213,900 in 2004.

Mira Lago at Palmer Ranch
Walter Duggins, of Louisville, Ky., sold his home at 7145 Del Lago Drive to Genevieve Haller, trustee, Sarasota, for $260,000. Built in 1994, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,824 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $186,600 in 1994.

Beneva Oaks
Kenneth Thorset sold his home at 6392 Woodbirch Place to John and Linda Harrison, Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1993, it has three bedrooms, two baths, one half-bath and 2,432 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $229,000 in 2010.

Douglas and Patricia Grim sold their home at 392 Bunker Hill to Gary and Ruth Bogenberger, of Palatine, Ill., for $525,000. Built in 1999, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,025 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $890,000 in 2005.

Bay Pointe Vista III
Lawrence and Dianne Martin, Venice, sold their Unit 304 condominium at 242 Hidden Bay Drive to Benjamin and Nora Clemens, West Palm Beach, for $360,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,100 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2004.

The Woodlands at Rivendell
Neil and Julie Attar, Sarasota, sold their home at 870 Placid Lake Drive to Patrick and Bridget Quirke, of West Sussex, United Kingdom, for $250,000. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,295 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $322,900 in 2002.

Stoneybrook Veranda Greens
Gerald and Mary Schott sold their Unit 1825 condominium at 9580 High Gate Drive to Charles and Rhonda Gonzalez, Sarasota, for $205,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,333 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $302,000 in 2007.

Limes
Seth Grigsby and Kesja Grigsby, Venice, sold their home at 316 Lime Drive to William and Denise Langman, of Hazeltown, Pa., for $222,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,810 square feet of living area.

Pinto Estates
Bank of America, N.A., sold the home at 863 Pinto Circle to Harvey and Kim Dorey, Nokomis, for $218,500. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 3,390 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $53,429 in 1990.
