Animal lovers gathered April 5 at Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue’s Adoption Center for the shelter’s Spring Carnival. Food vendors, homemade dog treats by girl scouts, a bounce house, other activities took over the grounds at the East County animal rescue. Dollars raised benefited Honor and its animal occupants, to fund supplies to aide shelter volunteers in caring for the dogs and cats.
