More than 70 couples turned out for the University Park Women's Club's annual Diamond and Crystal Charity Ball event, which kicked off at 7 p.m., Dec. 5 at the University Park Country Club. This year's event, themed "Dancing for the stars," benefited Manatee Children's Services.
