Christ Church learns to fish for fashion

Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian members hit the runway at its annual fashion show Feb. 8.

The show featured fashions from Patchington, hair by Design 2000 and makeup by Mary Kay.

Proceeds benefited the church’s mission and the Learn to Fish Recovery Center, which helps women recover from abuse and trauma.

“We’re very blessed that Christ Church has done this for us over the years,” Learn to Fish founder Sabrina Crain-Sweeney said. “So many churches come and go, but Christ Church has never left us. They have been so good to us, and we have been so blessed.”
