Students in Braden River Middle School’s Junior National Honor Society ladled out lunch for guests at its Empty Bowls event at lunchtime Dec. 10. Donations for a lunch of soup, bread and dessert benefited Our Daily Bread.

Braden River High School's Student Government Association threw a Christmas party worthy of the North Pole Dec. 10. Santa Claus arrived at the end of the school light parade, and band and choir students performed Christmas carols.

Santa Claus was the guest of honor at Braden River Elementary School's Supper with Santa event Dec. 10. Students and their families enjoyed a meal together, got photos taken with the big guy himself and listened as Lakewood Ranch High students performed Christmas carols.
