Plaza festival benefits charity

Despite the threat of rain, families gathered at Lake Osprey Plaza Jan. 30 for the shopping center’s first Winter Music Fest. The event, which featured live music, a scavenger hunt and other activities, benefited the American Cancer Society.
Winter Wonderland

Nearly 250 students at the Tabernacle Christian School enjoyed a winter wonderland celebration Jan. 29, as five tons of snow fell on the school's lawn overnight. Students enjoyed sled riding, getting their pictures taken, crafts and hot chocolate and chocolate covered marshmallows, among other tasty treats.
