Town encourages improved recycling habits with stickers

Want to know what you can and can’t recycle? The town of Longboat Key has stickers to put on your recycling bins as a reminder at Town Hall. 

The stickers were provided by Waste Management at the end of April after town staff reached out about wanting to better their recycling efforts.

The town program is entitled “Recycle Right” and originated with a group of residents hoping to better their recycling habits after the town’s goals and objectives workshop. 

Homeowners or homeowners associations can pick up the stickers at Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
