Golf

Sandy Atkinson and Kin Wright won the Men's Golf Association "1-2-1 then repeat" event at Palm Aire Country Club, shooting eight-under-par. 

The group of Tony Pugliese, Jack Siegel, Joe Helewicz and Gary Slavin won University Park Country Club's Men's Golf Association "2-2-1 on 5-4-3" event, shooting a combined 110.  

Joe and Elaine Kulbako, and Glyn and Diana Moser won University Park Country Club's July Fourth Tournament (1-2-1 on 3-4-5 format), shooting a combined 96. 

Gordon Marshall, Tracy Graham, Donn Patchen and Sherri Patchen (28-under-par) won Palm Aire Country Club's Firecracker Shootout (best ball format) on July 4.
