Residents of the Waterlefe community can again use their back gate entrance on Winding Stream Way, after a roughly weeklong closure.
Manatee County Public Works today reopened the entrance, which had been closed so contractors working on the Fort Hamer Bridge project could perform work there.
The detour forced all traffic through the main entrance off Upper Manatee River Road from Oct. 26.
