ODA posts district win

The Out-of-Door Academy baseball team needed just seven hits to top St. Petersburg Catholic 6-2 in district action March 23. 

Pitcher Duncan Cappar earned the win, allowing four hits without a run in four innings of work. Najee Rhodes went 2-for-3 with a double. Parke Phillips went 2-for-4. 

With the win, the Thunder improve to 15-2 overall and 13-1 in district play. 

ODA will return to action May 28 in the Taylor Emmons Memorial Classic. The Thunder will play a double header versus Keswick Christian and Estero, beginning at 4:30 p.m., at ODA.
