Body found at Lakewood Ranch church identified

A possible homicide victim who was dumped Friday near a dumpster at Our Lady of the Angels church at 12905 State Road 70 in Lakewood Ranch has been identified as Ted Lee, 38, of East Fort Myers.

Manatee County Sheriff's detectives will continue to work the case with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. A Manatee County Sheriff's report indicated that law enforcement officials believe the man was killed in Lee County and transported to Manatee County.

Lee County's Sheriff's Office now will release any further information about the case.
