Manatee County Commissioners will set the millage rate and adopt a tentative Fiscal Year 2017 budget during its meeting Aug. 2.
As part of the discussion, the board will talk about any “flagged” items, including additional funding for the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
The meeting will start at 9 a.m. and will be held in the first-floor chambers of the Manatee County administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
