1 — Sarasota Christian pitcher Cheyenne Miller tossed a perfect game with 11 strikeouts to lead the Blazers to a 10-0 victory versus Seacrest Country Day in the Class 2A-District 6 championship April 14. 

2 — Riverview senior point guard D.J. Bryant was named to the Class 8A first-team All-State, according to the Florida Association for Basketball Coaches and Source Hoops. 

3 — Cardinal Mooney junior Dillon O’Neill lifted a combined 675 pounds to finish second at the Class 1A weightlifting state championships April 15. 

4 — Spencer Stevens tossed a one-hit shutout to lead the Cardinal Mooney baseball team to a 1-0 victory versus Booker April 14. 

5 — Mark Townsend went 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Riverview baseball team to a 2-1 victory versus rival Sarasota April 14 in the regular season finale for both teams.
