Rams seek players for fundraiser

The Riverview High boys basketball team will hold its Golf Outing fundraiser Nov. 14, at Plantation Golf & Country Club. 

Registration for the scramble event will begin at 7:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. 

Cost is $125 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, breakfast and lunch, a round of golf and a goody bag. Those interested in only attending lunch can do so for $25. Awards will be handed out for closest to the hole on Par 3’s and those who sink a hole-in-one. There also will be longest drive and putting contests. 

Sponsorships, ranging from $100 tee signs to $3,000 awards lunch sponsors, also are available. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Riverview High boys basketball team.
