Sarasota Polo Club to host Beer, Bands & BBQ

Music, beer and barbecue enthusiasts: East County created an event just for you.

The inaugural Beer, Bands & BBQ event will feature a medley of the three to satisfy taste buds and music taste all in one day.

From 1 to 8 p.m. Oct. 3, the Sarasota Polo Club, located at 8201 Polo Club Lane, will host the event. Easter Seals of Southwest Florida and Suncoast Connections are offering the event.

Cost is $15 or $85 for VIP admission, and proceeds benefit the Sarasota Music Teachers Association.

Attendees can sample beers from breweries in Sarasota and Manatee counties while live music blares through the polo grounds.

The music lineup is as follows:

1 p.m. — Southback Sound Band

2 p.m. — Gumbo Boogie

3 p.m. — Passerine Music 

4 p.m. — License to Chill Band 

5 p.m. — Jah Movement Band 

6 p.m. — Stonefish Band 

7 p.m. — Matthew Facciolla Band
