Riverview rolls past SMA

The Riverview High boys soccer team beat Sarasota Military Academy 7-1 Nov. 5.

The Riverview High boys soccer team posted a 7-1 victory against Sarasota Military Academy Nov. 5. 

Senior Jorge Pena and junior Lucas DePaula each scored a pair of goals to lead the way for the Rams offensively. Junior Patrick Skladanowski added a goal and an assist. Seniors Felipe Rojas and George Konstantopoulos each had a goal. Junior Adam Bates recored a pair of assists and junior Adi Trifka also was credited with an assist. 

Goalkeepers Nick Altomare and Blake Podriciny combined for four saves in the win. 

Riverview returns to action at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 versus Cardinal Mooney.
