AAA designates Michael's On East as a premier restaurant

Michael’s On East continues its run as a AAA Four Diamond restaurant with a 26th consecutive distinction.

AAA Sarasota Field Manager Don Schwartz (middle) presented the annual award to Michael’s On East co-proprieters Michael Klauber and Phil Mancini during a presentation this morning. Four Diamond restaurants are geared toward a fine-dining experience according to a news release.

"Today was a truly special presentation in our region as Michael’s On East is one of only two restaurants in the entire state of Florida to maintain the AAA Four Diamond status for (more than 25 years),” Schwartz said in the release.

"As we accept this honor for the 26th consecutive year, we are humbled and thankful for the support of our clients, community and internal team which delivers consistent excellence," Klauber said in the release. "We look forward to many more years."
