JFCS dedicates Flanzer campus The Jewish Family and Children Services
of the Suncoast Inc. dedicated its newest building, named for benefactors Gloria and the late Louis Flanzer, Jan. 30. With the new addition, JFCS can expand programs and services that focus on caregivers and individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related diseases. The new campus is located
at 1753 Ringling Blvd. and will offer caregiver support groups, programs for the developmentally disabled, outreach and activities for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia-related diseases and counseling services. All of these programs are available to the entire community.

The Posh Plum opens new store
The Posh Plum furniture consignment store has expanded to include a new store at 4625 S. Tamiami Trail. It also has locations in Bonita Springs and Naples. The Posh Plum sells lightly used furnishings and accents in its showrooms. Customers can either consign furniture for The Posh Plum employees to sell or shop for “new pieces.”

Swim Inc. hires new designer/consultant
Jeffrey Zych brings many years of experience in the pool industry to Swim Inc. He joins the staff in the position of sales and design. Zych is certified by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals as a pool operator and service professional.

Sculpture Center adds two new board members
Sarasota Sculpture Center (formerly the Season of Sculpture) announced the addition of two new board members, Stephen Seidensticker and Glenn Weiss. Seidensticker has more than 27 years of experience in hotel and resort operations and owns Libby’s Café + Bar, Louies Modern, The Francis and Modern Events. Weiss is a member of Florida Association of Public Art Professionals and a public art planner from Delray Beach. He manages the public art programs of Tamarac and is writing the public art master plans for West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach with IBI Group.
