30-year Longboat Key resident Irwin Lowenstein celebrated his 80th birthday on Aug. 17 with his wife, Joel, and his five children.
The family celebrated in Saratoga Springs, where they all dressed in Kentucky Derby-style attire.
“Born and raised in Louisville, horse racing is a long-time passion,” Suzanne Reiman, Lowenstein’s daughter, said.
