Longboat Key Town Hall to hold document-shredding event

The Town of Longboat Key will host a free document-shredding event on Aug. 26. Residents can shred their important documents — such as invoices, tax documents, voided checks, bank statements, credit cards, credit reports and legal documents — in a safe and secure manner.

Co-sponsor Yarnall Records Management will be conducting the on-site shredding. Those unable to make the event can drop off their documents ahead of time for secure storage until the shredding. Waste Management of Florida will provide the storage containers.
