10 saucy pizza gifs to help you prepare for Sarasota Pizza Wars

I think the Olsen twins said it best in this nightmare-fuel of a video. We all want pizza. P-I-Z-Z-A. It's just one of those foods that's hard to get sick of. And with so many styles and variations, the culinary combinations are practically limitless.

EnterSarasota Pizza Wars. Started in 2009, this competition pits Sarasota's best pizza chefs against one another for the right to call their pies Sarasota's best pizza.

This Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m., more than 25 Sarasota and Bradenton area pizzerias will gather in Phillipi Estate Park to battle it out with their own unique slices of cheese-smothered heaven. The competition benefits the Humane Society of Sarasota County and Sarasota County Schools and will offer a wide sampling of the area's best pizza.
