Sleepy Lagoon home sells for $2.05 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 15 and Sept. 19.

A home in Sleepy Lagoon tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Barbara Hania, trustee, sold the home at 6270 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mateos Family LLC for $2.05 million. Built in 1987, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,457 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $595,000 in 1988.

Grand Bay
Andrew and Judith Adler, of Hillsdale, N.Y., sold their Unit 324 condominium at 3030 Grand Bay Blvd. to 324 Grand Bay LLC for $865,000. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,369 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $590,000 in 1999.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Richard Wilcox, of Longboat Key, sold his home at 940 Spanish Drive N. to Margaret Hoover, trustee, of Lambertville, Mich., for $599,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,000 in 2010.

Country Club Shores
John Mason, of Atlanta, sold his home at 540 Birdie Lane to Chris and Michelle Kechriotis, of Orlando, for $580,000. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,485 square feet of living area.

Islander Club of Longboat
Roger Gerrard, of Jacksonville, sold his Unit 36-N condominium at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Tracy Weber, of Southbury, Conn., for $545,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $238,000 in 1997.

Buttonwood Cove
Janice Pyburn, of Ontario, Canada, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 3660 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kathy Surma, of Bridgeville, Pa., for $365,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,284 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2000.

Turtle Crawl
LBK Rentals LLC sold the Unit T-501 condominium at 4235 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Patricia Pape for $337,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $309,000 in 2009.

Cabana Beach Club
Agnes Peterson, of Stamford, Conn., sold her Unit 9 condominium at 5851 Gulf of Mexico Drive to LB Key LLC for $321,700. Built in 1971, it has one bedroom, one bath and 750 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2012.

Bird Key
Susan McCart, of Sarasota, sold her home at 238 Robin Drive to Jonathan and Helen Turner, trustees, of Sarasota, for $699,000. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,188 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000
in 2009.

Lido Key
John Ringling Estates

The Bank of New York Mellon, trustee, sold the home at 150 S. Washington Drive to Peter and Beata Knop, of Chantilly, Va., for $460,000. Built in 1958, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 945 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $78,000 in 1987.
