Authorities seek counterfeit cash suspect

The Sarasota Police Department is looking for a man suspected of passing counterfeit cash last week.

Detectives believe a white male, who was between 20 and 30 years old, used three fake $100 bills at a Walgreens on the 3900 block of South Tamiami Trail. Surveillance photos show the man wearing a white button-up shirt, jeans and sandals.
