The sixth annual Sarasota Jewish Festival returns Sunday, Jan. 12. The festival boasts a wide selection of traditional comfort Jewish food including corned beef sandwiches "worthy of being served in New York" and matzoh ball soup.

Guests are invited to start their day with a bagel and schmear before moving on to the main dishes such as brisket, stuffed cabbage and knishes.

Admission is free and the fair will take place rain or shine. The event also includes a used book sale and art vendors.

A bone marrow registry will be on sight looking for individuals willing to have their cheek swabbed to help find a match for a relative of a Temple Sinai family with Acute Childhood Leukemia.

This year, Temple Sinai has partnered with All Faith Food Bank and encourages guests to bring canned goods or a non-perishable donation.
