Less than two weeks before the season premiere of AMC's Breaking Bad, Sarasota County deputies busted a pair of local methamphetamine manufacturers.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested brothers 19-year-old David Haring and 30-year-old John Anthony Bedford for trafficking in methamphetamine Thursday, Aug. 1. The men were using a campsite near the intersection of Webber Street and Cattlemen Road, according to arrest records.

Detectives discovered lithium batteries, a pipe cutter, a plastic bag filled with clear liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine, coffee filters, measuring cups and a container of muriatic acid at the campsite. They learned that Haring had recently tried to purchase large amounts of pseudoephedrine. More than 14 grams of the liquid were discovered at the site.

Both men are being held in the Sarasota County Jail without bail.
