School Board to vote on budget

Members of the Manatee County School Board tonight are expected to approve the district's tentative 2012-13 budget.

The meeting, which starts at 5:45 p.m., will be held at the district's administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

The board is expected to adopt a millage rate of 7.09% and a tentative budget of $554,404,285 for fiscal year 2012-2013.
