Deputies catch home burglars

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested four individuals in connection with burglaries in the area.

A sheriff's office report states Carlton Bennett, Richard Brennen, Marquis Koone and Torey Stockton were arrested Wednesday afternoon, after they were seen traveling toward the East County and entering several neighborhoods and approaching residences.

A resident called 911 to report a silver vehicle in the 3805 block of 34th Street East. The homeowner came home and confronted the suspects, who fled from the residence on foot, the report states.

Deputies were able to locate the subjects and make arrests.
