OBITUARY: Alan George Braxton

Alan George Braxton, 72, of Longboat Key and formerly of University Park and Lehigh-on-Sea, England, died May 2.

Mr. Braxton was a retired chartered accountant and enjoyed playing tennis and his clarinet.

Mr. Braxton is survived by his wife, Ronda; children, Victoria and Mark, both of Lehigh-on-Sea; stepdaughter, Carol Gertsen, of Potomac, Md.; stepson, John Gertsen, of San Francisco; and two grandchildren.

A service will take place at 2 p.m., Monday, May 9, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 40 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota.
