William Enrique Fickes, son of Jason and Kathy Fickes, of North Carolina, was baptized by Msgr. Gerry Finegan July 17, at St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Catholic church. His twin siblings, Evelyn and Lance, were baptized at St. Mary July 25, 2010.

St. Mary also welcomes Daisy Jane Johnson to its community. Her parents are Aaron and Amanda Johnson, of Sarasota.
