Ranch Humane Society opens boutique

Volunteers and board members of the Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch celebrated the grand opening of the organization's new fundraising venture July 22.

Called Second Chances Boutique, the high-end consignment shop is located in Lake Osprey Plaza and offers clothing, accessories and other items on consignment.

The grand opening event ran from 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday, with a special ribbon-cutting event at 4 p.m.
