+ RVA named manager of Beach Castle Resort
RVA, a ResortQuest Affiliate, has been named onsite manager of Beach Castle Resort and manager of a selection of unit inventory. The 21-unit resort is located at 5310 Gulf of Mexico Drive and has one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

+ Carman’s Shoes closes after 45 years on the Circle
Carman’s Shoes closed Dec. 29 after 45 years on St. Armands Circle. The three-story building, located at 434 and 436 St. Armands Circle, is under contract with a retailer, said Judy Carman, who owns the store with her husband, Bill. The Carmans plan to enjoy retirement at their home in the Longbeach Village, where they have lived for 41 years.

+ PFG Asset Management Group to open Key office
PFG Asset Management Group LLC will open its office at 6960 Gulf of Mexico Drive, formerly the property occupied by the Longboat Key, Lido Key, St. Armands Key Chamber of Commerce, early this year. PFG purchased the building in August. The company offers portfolio management, investment advisory services and a full-service insurance broker, including life, house and car insurance, and has offices in Sarasota and Atlanta.
