Authorities have concluded bones found along Lena Road this morning are not human remains.
A Manatee County Sheriff's Office report states several bones were found scattered in the 5200 block of Lena Road, on the west side of the roadway, as a tract of land was being surveyed for future construction.
The bones, although not human, were still collected and photographed.
