Town testing Key fire hydrants

The Longboat Key Public Works Department is currently testing both public and privately owned fire hydrants.

Town contractor Mueller Services is providing the tests, which will not affect water services.

Mueller Services is moving in a general north-to-south pattern along the Key. Work for the week of Aug. 29 is scheduled for the 2000 through 3000 blocks of Gulf of Mexico Drive and the Bay Isles area, as weather permits.
