Vitales meet Pope Benedict XVI

Lakewood Ranch resident and ESPN commentator Dick Vitale, and his wife, Lorriane, recently returned from Italy, where the couple had a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI.

The Vitales met the Pope at his summer palace in Castel Gandolfo.
