It seems Longboat Key has a pot problem. No, the town isn’t going up in smoke. But two residents reported pots stolen last week from outside their yards. Both incidents were reported July 27 in Country Club Shores. In one incident, the pot poacher dumped the flowers out, and in the second snatching, the theft also grabbed a yard ornament. Keep your eyes peeled for this pot — and call police at 316-1977 if you have any information.
