OBITUARY: Mark Kevin Height

Mark Kevin Height, 55, of Longboat Key, died Sept. 9.

Originally from Van Wert, Ohio, he graduated from Ohio State University. He spent the last six years on Longboat Key with his partner, Anna Tiller, with whom he owned and operated a UPS store.

Mr. Height loved living on Longboat Key, where he enjoyed fishing, walking the beach and sitting by his pool or at the town dock, staring at the bay. He is remembered as a good conversationalist and for his quirky sense of humor and knowledge of beer, history, geography and many other subjects.

Mr. Height is survived by his partner, Anna Tiller; mother, Janette Height, of Van Wert; brother, Terry Height, of Wabash, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
