+ Sarasota to hold walk to remember
For the first time, Sarasota will have a “Memory Walk” to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Pre-walk activities will begin at 8 a.m., and the official step-off will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, beginning at the Lido Beach Pavilion. The fundraising goal for the two-mile walk is $150,000. To register, go to alz.org/FLGulfCoast.
