Key bald eagles return in nesting mode

Longboat Key photographer Mary Lou Johnson recently snapped photos of a pair of bald eagles that returned to the island last month. According to Johnson, the eagles have returned to Longboat Key after summer for the past eight years. The pair is currently nesting at a mid-Key condominium.
