This season, you might observe at least one new face and a familiar face around town. Maria Amodio, who interned at The Longboat Observer last spring, has returned as a staff writer. Amodio graduated from Northeastern University, in Boston, with a degree in English. And Rachel O’Hara, who graduated in June from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, with a degree in photojournalism, joins us as staff photographer. And, come November, we’ll welcome back another familiar face: Senior Editor Dora Walters will return from summer break ready to savor all that season has to offer.
