One-dozen members of the Republican Club of South Sarasota County collected five jumbo-sized trash bags and a pile of lumber on Armed Forces Day Saturday, May 15, along Manasota Beach Road, in North Englewood and South Venice.

Don O'Nesky, Mike and Linda Moultrie, Rob Sprague, Gladys Green, Dale and Peachie DeYoung, Chuck Ford, Larry Gallick, Jo and Darryl Henry and Win Orben volunteered nearly 18 hours of their time to complete the task.
