The Beth Israel Women gathered Monday, May 3, for an open tea and meeting. The group approved its plans for the 2010-11 season and welcomed new board members Doris White, Lois Barson, Susan Gleeksman and Molla Gelwar. It also heard from Sheila Nitzberg, who discussed plans to update the women’s room, a project that is being underwritten by the Beth Israel Women. But the meeting wasn’t all business. The approximately 50 women in attendance enjoyed a spread of tea sandwiches and pastries prepared by Sylvia Pastor, Roz Fleischer, Arlene Krum, Sandie Cutler-Cohen and Judy Goldstein.
