We wish you, Ralph Hunter, a very happy birthday!

Hunter, along with his wife, Claire, is the founder of The Longboat Observer. He will observe his 90th birthday Monday, March 29. Hunter was also instrumental in reorganizing the Longboat Key Historical Society. In 2002, Hunter wrote “From Calusas to Condominiums, a Pictorial History of Longboat Key.” The Historical Society has ordered a reprinting of the book.

Last month, the Hunters left the Key to reside at the Westminster Shore, a retirement community in Bradenton.
